How It Works
Building a Quran habit has never been easier.
Select which apps you want to block — social media, games, or any app that takes your time.
When you try to open a blocked app, you'll be asked to read a portion of Quran first.
Over time, you naturally develop a daily Quran habit and reduce mindless scrolling.
إِنَّ هٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ يَهْدِى لِلَّتِى هِىَ أَقْوَمُ
"Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most suitable."
Surah Al-Isra' (17:9)

FAQ
Muslim Screen uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls) to place a shield over your selected apps. When you try to open a blocked app, you'll be redirected to read Quran. Once you complete your reading, the apps are unlocked for a cooldown period. The blocking is completely voluntary — you can remove it anytime from Settings.
Absolutely. Your Quran reading progress, dhikr counts, and bookmarks are stored locally on your device using encrypted iOS storage. We cannot see which apps you block — Apple's Family Controls uses opaque tokens. We have no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking. Your data stays yours.
No. Muslim Screen works fully offline without an account. Creating an account (via Apple Sign-In) is optional and only needed if you want to sync your progress across devices in the future.
The app is fully localized in 9 languages: English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Malay, Turkish, and Urdu. The Quran text is always displayed in Arabic with translations available in multiple languages.
We use the Sahih International English translation, one of the most widely accepted and accurate translations of the Quran. The Arabic text is displayed in the beautiful Amiri typeface.
You can cancel your subscription anytime through your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Muslim Screen. Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the next renewal date. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Muslim Screen is currently available only on iPhone (iOS). We're focused on delivering the best possible experience on iOS first. An Android version may be considered in the future based on demand.
