1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Muslim Screen ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Muslim Screen is an Islamic mobile application that helps users build a daily Quran reading habit through voluntary app blocking, prayer time tracking, dhikr counting, and Quran reading features. The App is designed as a digital wellness tool rooted in Islamic values.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and agree to comply with Apple's Terms of Service for the App Store.

4. Account Registration

Account creation is optional. If you choose to create an account using Apple Sign-In, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • Annual: $29.99/year (includes 7-day free trial)
  • Lifetime: $79.99 one-time purchase

Billing

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. By subscribing, you authorize Apple to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are in USD and may vary by region due to Apple's pricing tiers.

Auto-Renewal

Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Free Trial

The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the first billing period. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and is typically available only once per Apple ID.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes and to:

  • Treat all Quran content with respect and reverence
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
  • Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Not distribute, license, or sell the App or its content

7. Intellectual Property

The Quran text is in the public domain. The Sahih International English translation is used under appropriate license. All other content, including the App's design, code, icons, animations, and branding, is the intellectual property of Muslim Screen and is protected by copyright law.

8. Disclaimers

  • Prayer Times: Prayer time calculations are based on mathematical algorithms and your device's location. They are estimates and may differ slightly from local mosque timings. Always verify important prayer times with your local Islamic authority.
  • App Blocking: The app blocking feature is entirely voluntary and can be disabled at any time. We are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by blocked apps.
  • Qibla Direction: Qibla compass accuracy depends on your device's magnetometer calibration. The direction shown is an approximation.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muslim Screen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through an app update. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
